Mrs. Carney Prepares Food Hampers with Feed Canada Association and Multifaith Housing Initiative

In collaboration with the Feed Canada Association, a Nepean‑based organization addressing food insecurity in Ottawa, and the Multifaith Housing Initiative, one of the largest shelter providers in Nepean, Mrs. Diana Fox Carney met with senior community leaders and assisted in preparing food hampers for delivery to more than 200 families in the community.

Mrs. Carney met with Sadaf Ebrahim, President of the Feed Canada Association, and Sahada Alolo, Director of Community Engagement at the Multifaith Housing Initiative, to discuss food insecurity and the role of community‑based initiatives in supporting residents across the riding.

She also spoke with local volunteers, learned about the organizations’ operations, and assisted with the delivery of food hampers to families in need within Nepean. The initiative formed part of the Ramadan Food Hamper Drive organized jointly by the Feed Canada Association and the Multifaith Housing Initiative.
