Prime Minister Mark Carney’s wife, Mrs. Diana Fox Carney, visited the Extendicare Longfields Manor Long-Term Care Home to meet and spend time with seniors in Nepean.
Mrs. Carney conversed with seniors, met with Extendicare Longfields Manor's staff, and toured the facility with Executive Director Tracy Konink and the Resident's Council President Sue, before joining residents to celebrate the home's first batch of home-produced maple syrup from the care home's sugar shack. She discussed ways to optimize senior care and support for elderly Canadians.
