Prime Minister Mark Carney’s Constituency Office is here to support residents of Nepean by assisting with federal matters, providing guidance on government services, and helping constituents navigate urgent concerns.
While the office is separate from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and is not directly involved in processing immigration applications, we may be able to assist in certain urgent circumstances, including:
- Immigration emergencies (death in the family, etc.)
- Errors made in an application decision by IRCC
- It is significantly past the processing time as stated on the IRCC website online and you have not received a response on your application
Prior to contacting the Prime Minister's Constituency Office, we encourage you to kindly ensure you do the following (if relevant):
- Check the STANDARD PROCESSING TIME for your application type here.
- Check the STATUS of your application here. Select the kind of application you made. NOTE: you can also link your paper application to an online account OR you can check your online application status.
- If you have to make a CHANGE to your application, please submit the appropriate web form here.
Register for the IRCC online portal here. It is very important to register for the IRCC online portal—as it is the fastest and best way to get updates on your file and to also be informed if there is something missing from your application.
You can reach an IRCC agent at 1-888-242-2100.
